We've had a lovely weekend and in the perfect location for the Open Air Theatre. The flat is ideal in size for our needs and the layout is cosy and comfortable. We really enjoyed an ice cream on the miniature railway and a visit to Peasholm Park which is so pretty in the daytime and lit up at night. The little things like having milk in the fridge for our arrival and having a well stocked cupboard with salt and vinegar as well as kitchen roll has made life a lot easier and allowed us to travel light. It's a home away from home. Thanks again.

We chose this accommodation because of the two bathrooms and the secure parking. All the rooms were very clean and even with four adults, we found the flat quite spacious. As most of our meals except breakfast were taken out we didn't avail ourselves of the excellent cooking facilities. The flat is extremely well fitted out and and in a very good position. Not far from the town centre and of course, the beach. We had a good holiday made better by the excellent weather. We would certainly recommend this accommodation to anyone. Our first time in Scarborough was brilliant! We've loved looking out at the ever changing sea. This is a perfect base to explore from - the park, the beach, the castle, the cliffs... We've loved it. Made better by brilliant hosts who have been quick to respond and so helpful. Having been here for two weeks we have also experienced the treat of having Helen in to clean. This was our first visit to Scarborough as a family and Royal Sands provided the perfect base for our mini half-term break. We have stayed in quite a few holiday rentals and we thought the apartment went the extra mile to ensure a hassle free break - small details like beach towels, soap at every sink, free wi-fi toys, games, DVDs, tea towels and cleaning cloths for the kitchen... and SO clean! The attention to detail made all the difference. We had a lovely break, despite a stubborn sea fret and enjoyed all the town has to offer - Alpamare, the beach, the fun fair....and Pizza Express! Another excellent and enjoyable stay. We have lost count of how many times we have stayed in this apartment or next door at 8. We love staying here and our boys would rather stay here than anywhere else. Sue and the rest of the team are welcoming, friendly and will do anything for you. Thanks for a lovely break - the flat has been very comfortable and we have enjoyed the view. We have been lucky to get sunshine & mild weather and have enjoyed great walking. Walked to Filey & caught the bus back, walked from Cloughton to Hayburn Wyke and also from Robin Hoods Bay to Ravenscar on the "cinder track" and back on the coast (Cleveland Way). We enjoyed fish and chips from North Bay Fisheries, just down the road on Columbus Ravine, burgers and craft beer at the Cowshed and a great "posh meal" at Jeremys, which is a few doors from North Bay Fisheries and were delighted to find more excellent foody places so close by. Had a lovely few days, very lucky with the weather, managed a boat ride on Peasholm Park in a dragon, splashing in the sea and a donkey ride. A walk up Olivers Mount and a visit with some friends.
